Summary
This early-stage study looks at whether the drug pioglitazone can block the rise in ketones and sugar production caused by another diabetes drug, empagliflozin. Researchers will measure these effects in 64 adults with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to better understand how these medications interact in the body.
