Summary
This study looked at 67 adults with type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease who were starting a type of diabetes medication called SGLT2 inhibitors. Researchers measured liver stiffness and fat using ultrasound and checked blood markers before and 6 months after starting the drug. The goal was to see if the medication improves liver health.
