Summary
This study looks at how a class of diabetes medicines called SGLT2 inhibitors may change the size and function of the heart's left atrium in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure heart changes before and after 6 months of treatment. The study involves 100 adults aged 40-75 with well-controlled diabetes who are not already taking SGLT2 inhibitors.
