Summary

This study looked at whether a type of diabetes medicine called SGLT2 inhibitors can slow down kidney disease in teenagers with type 1 diabetes. 86 teens took part. The main goal was to see if the drug could reduce a marker of kidney damage (UACR) after 6 months. The study also checked blood sugar control.
