New hope to stop kidney damage before It's too late
NCT ID NCT06528405
Summary
This study is testing whether a class of drugs called SGLT2 inhibitors can help people with acute kidney disease. Researchers want to see if these medications, already used for chronic kidney problems, can safely reduce protein in urine and protect kidney function during this critical recovery window. The trial will involve 264 adults in Taiwan, some receiving the drug and others receiving a placebo, to gather strong evidence.
