New shot could help kids with kidney disease avoid relapses

Summary

This study tests a new drug called SG301, given as a shot under the skin, for children aged 6 to 18 who have nephrotic syndrome that keeps coming back or requires steroids to stay in remission. The goal is to see if it can safely reduce relapses and help children stay off steroids longer. About 30 children will take part in this early-phase trial.
