First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This completed trial looked at 140 women who had their tubes tied (tubal ligation) to see if the surgical method affects sexual quality of life after 6 months. One group had standard abdominal laparoscopy, the other had a newer vaginal approach called vNOTES. Participants filled out a questionnaire about their sexual function before and after surgery. The goal was to see if vNOTES is at least as good as laparoscopy in preserving sexual satisfaction.
