Can a single workout fix artery damage from metabolic syndrome?

NCT ID NCT07430839

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether metabolic syndrome harms artery function differently in young men versus women, and if a single 30-minute exercise session can temporarily improve it. Researchers will measure blood flow in the neck artery before and after exercise in 48 adults with and without metabolic syndrome. The goal is to better understand early blood vessel damage and how exercise might help.
