Vaping's hidden toll on young hearts: sex differences revealed

NCT ID NCT06159608

Summary

This study aims to understand how e-cigarette use affects blood vessel function in young adults, and whether these effects differ between men and women. Researchers will examine 80 healthy participants aged 18-24, comparing chronic vapers with non-users. They'll use skin blood vessels as a model to measure vascular health and collect blood and urine samples to look for markers of inflammation and hormonal influences.
