Summary

This study tests a new type of nerve block (SPSIPB) to see if it can better control pain after heart surgery. 120 adults having elective heart surgery will either get the nerve block plus standard painkillers or standard care alone. The goal is to reduce the amount of strong pain medicine (fentanyl) needed and help patients recover faster.
