First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will test SerenApp, a smartphone app designed with input from patients and doctors to help breast cancer survivors cope with anxiety, depression, and stress. 90 women who have finished primary treatment will use the app for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in emotional well-being and quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
SerenApp digital psychological intervention (smartphone app)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a convenient, low-cost way for breast cancer survivors to manage emotional distress and improve quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study (90 participants) testing a new app, so results may not apply broadly. The app is self-guided and may not help everyone.
