First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested a computer program that uses vital signs from the first 8 hours in the hospital to sort sepsis patients into four groups. The goal was to see if these groups have different outcomes, which could help doctors choose better treatments in the future. About 1,900 adults took part, and their care was not changed by the study.
