Researchers seek better way to predict sepsis survival in Turkey's ICUs
NCT ID NCT07300306
Summary
This study aims to test whether a new scoring system (SOFA-2) can better predict which ICU patients with sepsis will survive. Researchers will collect routine medical data from 2,500 adult ICU patients across Turkey to compare the new score against the old one. The study will also measure how common sepsis currently is in Turkish intensive care units.
