Blood test may predict who survives deadly sepsis
NCT ID NCT06887439
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple score calculated from routine blood tests (called EASIX) can predict which sepsis patients are most likely to die or develop serious complications. Researchers followed 150 adult patients in intensive care who had sepsis. The goal was to see if this score helps doctors identify high-risk patients earlier.
