NCT ID NCT06512129

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring the water outside cells (extracellular water) can help doctors understand fluid status in sepsis patients with unstable blood pressure. About 20 adults with sepsis in the ICU will have standard care plus extra water measurements. The goal is to learn, not to test a new treatment.
