Summary

This study checked if new regional guidelines for spotting and treating sepsis in pregnant and postpartum women worked. Researchers compared hospital stays and health outcomes for 52 women before and after the guidelines were introduced. The goal was to see if standardized care could help mothers and babies by catching sepsis earlier and treating it better.
