Doctors test if skipping lymph node surgery is safer for uterine cancer patients

Summary
This study is for women with early-stage endometrial (uterine) cancer. It compares two surgical approaches after removing the uterus: one uses a dye to find and check just one or two 'sentinel' lymph nodes, while the other skips checking lymph nodes altogether. The main goals are to see if the sentinel node method helps patients recover faster without increasing the risk of the cancer coming back, and to check if it causes fewer side effects like leg swelling.
