New study aims to reduce unnecessary surgery for endometrial cancer patients

Summary
This study looks at whether a less invasive procedure called sentinel node biopsy is better than no lymph node removal at all for women with early-stage endometrial cancer. The goal is to see if it helps women return to normal activities faster and does not increase the risk of cancer coming back. About 760 women will take part, and the study will track their recovery and cancer recurrence over several years.
