Can training bring back taste and smell after chemo?
NCT ID NCT04716153
Summary
This study tested a special training program designed to help patients recover their sense of taste and smell after finishing chemotherapy for blood cancers like lymphoma or multiple myeloma. The goal was to see if this rehabilitation could improve patients' nutrition, psychological well-being, and overall quality of life. The program involved specific smell and taste tests and exercises, but the study was stopped early after enrolling only 5 participants.
