Smartphone app may predict falls in chemo patients
NCT ID NCT05330104
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app can help detect early signs of nerve damage from chemotherapy that could lead to falls. Twelve adults with cancer starting certain chemo drugs used the app to report symptoms. The goal was to find a symptom threshold that signals fall risk, so patients can get help early and avoid injuries while continuing life-saving treatment.
