First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether senolytic drugs—which clear out aged, damaged cells—are safe and feasible for people with early Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment. About 48 adults aged 60 and older with elevated tau protein will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to check for side effects over 48 weeks, not to cure the disease.
