Summary

This study tested a once-weekly injection of semaglutide (2.4 mg) in 150 Asian adults with obesity (BMI 25 or higher). Participants received either the drug or a placebo, plus lifestyle advice, for about a year. The main goal was to see how much weight they lost. Results showed that semaglutide helped people lose more weight than placebo, with many losing at least 5% of their body weight.
