Summary
This study tests whether a weekly injection of semaglutide can help preserve the body's ability to produce insulin and reduce fat buildup in the liver. It involves 60 obese teenagers with prediabetes or early type 2 diabetes who also have fatty liver disease. The goal is to see if this medication can slow down or prevent the progression of diabetes and liver damage.
