New hope for kids with tough cancers: testing a promising drug

Summary

This study is testing whether the drug selinexor can help control certain childhood solid tumors that have come back or have not responded to standard treatments. It is for children as young as 1 year old who have specific cancers like Wilms tumor, rhabdoid tumor, or MPNST, and whose cancer has a particular genetic feature. The main goal is to see if the drug shrinks the tumors.
