Summary
This pilot study looked at whether a larger study on self-scar massage for women who had tears or cuts during childbirth is possible. Fourteen new mothers were asked to massage their scar tissue at home for 6 weeks and report their experience. The goal was to see if women would stick with the routine and find it helpful for pelvic health.
