Can simple Self-Care ease the lingering pain after breast cancer surgery?
NCT ID NCT03651973
Summary
This study tested whether teaching patients simple self-massage and stretching techniques could help prevent long-term pain after breast cancer surgery. 144 women scheduled for surgery were split into two groups. One group received standard care, while the other also attended workshops to learn daily self-massage and stretching routines for their chest and shoulder muscles.
