First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study compares a self-management program to usual care for people with greater trochanteric pain syndrome (chronic hip pain). About 110 adults aged 18-70 with hip pain lasting over 3 months will be randomly assigned to either the self-management program or standard care. Researchers will track pain, function, and cost-effectiveness over 12 months to see if self-management offers better relief.
