App helps new moms lower blood pressure and stress after complicated pregnancies

Summary
This study tested a self-management app for women who had high blood pressure during pregnancy and continued to have it after childbirth. 99 women were randomly assigned to use the app or receive usual care. The app aimed to help them track their blood pressure, reduce stress and depression, and adopt healthier lifestyles. Results will show if the app improves blood pressure control and emotional well-being in the critical postpartum period.
