Summary
This study tested a new self-learning bolus calculator that simplifies meal announcements for adolescents and young adults with type 1 diabetes using automated insulin delivery. Two participants used the system first in a hotel and then at home to see if it was safe and feasible. The goal was to help manage blood sugar levels more easily without needing complex meal calculations.
