NCT ID NCT04093388

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a Pap smear that women collect themselves is just as accurate as the traditional one done by a healthcare provider. Researchers will enroll 250 women aged 21-65 who need routine cervical cancer screening. If successful, this approach could make screening easier and more accessible, especially in rural areas where access to care is limited.
