Ancient practices offer new hope for breast cancer survivors struggling with pain and fatigue
NCT ID NCT06497582
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested two simple, drug-free techniques—self-acupressure (pressing specific points on the body) and Zhan Zhuang (a gentle standing meditation)—to help breast cancer survivors manage pain, tiredness, and sleep problems. About 50 women who had finished cancer treatment and still had moderate symptoms took part. They were split into three groups: one learned acupressure, one learned Zhan Zhuang, and a third group received usual care. The goal was to see if these practices could improve daily life and well-being.
