Summary

This study tests whether adding selenium supplements to standard advanced therapies (like biologics) can improve outcomes for people with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. About 180 participants will receive either selenium or a placebo for a set period. The goal is to see if selenium helps reduce inflammation and leads to remission.
