NCT ID NCT05637762

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study aimed to create a database of heart rate and movement data from 13 adults with drug-resistant epilepsy. Participants wore a connected patch that recorded heart rate and motion, while also undergoing video-EEG monitoring to confirm when seizures occurred. The goal was to use this information to develop an algorithm that can automatically detect seizures, which could help reduce stress from unpredictable seizures and guide treatment adjustments.
