NCT ID NCT05353322
Summary
This study aims to find the most effective and practical way to break up long periods of sitting. Researchers will test different combinations of how often and for how long healthy adults should take short walking breaks during an 8-hour day. The goal is to discover the smallest amount of activity needed to improve key heart health markers like blood pressure and blood sugar, which will help create future public health advice.
