First seen May 19, 2026 ยท Last updated May 19, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether a second stem cell transplant, using a personalized dose of busulfan plus bortezomib, could help control multiple myeloma that had come back after a first transplant. Thirty adults aged 18 to 75 took part. The goal was to see how many patients had their disease shrink or stabilize six months after the transplant.
