Could a gentler cleaning method make cavity sealants last longer?

This trial tests whether cleaning the chewing surfaces of children's teeth with a fine erythritol powder spray (Guided Biofilm Therapy) before applying a protective sealant helps the sealant stay in place longer than the standard rotary-brush polishing. Each child aged 6–10 will receive both methods on opposite sides of the mouth, and the sealants will be checked over three years. The goal is to see which cleaning approach leads to better sealant retention and fewer cavities.
