First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study checks if a questionnaire called SCREEN can correctly find older adults (55+) who are at risk of malnutrition, especially those with mild memory loss or dementia and those living in retirement homes. Researchers compared SCREEN results with a dietitian's expert assessment in 326 participants. The goal is to make sure the tool works well for these groups so caregivers and doctors can catch nutrition problems early.
