Scoliosis curve size linked to pain and Self-Image in teens

NCT ID NCT07405112

First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at 78 teens with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis to see if the size of their spinal curve (Cobb angle) affects how much pain they feel and how they see their body. Researchers divided participants into three groups based on curve severity and measured pain and body image using questionnaires. The goal was to better understand these connections, not to test a treatment.
