Researchers track deadly lung complication in scleroderma patients
NCT ID NCT03271333
Summary
This study aimed to understand how a severe lung complication, called diffuse infiltrating pneumonia, changes over time in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Researchers followed 56 patients for two years, measuring their lung function to see how it declined. The goal was to identify factors that predict a worse outcome for this life-threatening condition.
