Summary
This study aimed to understand how common painful skin calcium deposits are in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Researchers used hand and foot X-rays to check 214 patients for these deposits. They also investigated whether having these calcium deposits is linked to damage in internal organs like the heart or lungs.
