New Leg-Numbing technique could make surgery more comfortable

Summary
This study tests a new method for numbing the leg during foot or ankle surgery. Doctors will use ultrasound to guide a numbing medicine into a specific spot in the thigh. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and works better than the usual method, which targets the back of the knee. 200 adults having leg surgery will take part.
