New hope for nerve tumor pain: two drugs enter human testing

Summary
This study is testing two different drugs to see if they can safely reduce chronic pain in adults with schwannomatosis, a rare genetic condition that causes painful nerve tumors. Up to 40 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either an active drug or a placebo for a period of time. The goal is to find new options for people whose pain isn't well controlled by current medications.
