School 'Link Workers' could be the antidote to teen loneliness
NCT ID NCT07154225
First seen Nov 01, 2025
Summary
This study tests whether a school-based program called social prescribing can help young people who feel lonely. Instead of medicine, a link worker helps them find activities and support in their community. About 215 students in England will either get this program or just a list of resources, and researchers will track their loneliness, mental health, and well-being for a year.
