School resource program may curb youth violence, study says

This study looks at a Michigan school program called Pathways to Potential (P2P). In this program, social workers called success coaches help students and families find community resources for needs like transportation or jobs. The goal is to see if this program lowers youth violence, child abuse, and school absences. Researchers will study data from over 100 schools and survey the success coaches.
