Can school coaches stop youth violence before it starts?
NCT ID NCT05986188
Summary
This study is looking at whether a school program called Pathways to Potential helps prevent youth violence. The program places 'success coaches' in Michigan public schools to identify and help with family needs like transportation or unemployment, which can affect school attendance. Researchers will check if schools using this program see fewer expulsions for fighting, fewer child abuse investigations, and better student attendance.
