Comics in class aim to change how kids think about pain
NCT ID NCT07160478
Summary
This study tested a school program called 'SocLaLola' that uses a comic book story to teach children aged 8-11 about pain science and healthy habits. Researchers compared it to a standard program about reducing sitting time to see which was better at improving kids' knowledge about pain and reducing their fear of physical activity. A total of 82 students from two primary schools participated in the one-session program.
