Summary
This pilot study tested whether school nurses and trained teen 'health champions' could improve health literacy among 138 female students and community members in rural Bangladesh. Nurses provided weekly health classes for three months, then teens shared what they learned with their community. The goal was to see if this low-cost approach could help people better understand and use health information to prevent disease and improve well-being.
