School clock diet: could Time-Restricted eating curb child obesity?

Summary

This study tests whether limiting when children eat to a 12-hour window each day can help prevent and manage obesity. About 1,380 fourth-grade students from different schools will take part. One group will follow the time-restricted eating plan plus receive health education, while the other group gets only health education. After 9 months, researchers will compare weight changes and obesity rates between the two groups.
