Schools trial new talk therapy to help depressed teens
NCT ID NCT06740084
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether a brief psychological counseling program, delivered by school staff, is a practical way to help reduce depression in high school students in Ghana. The program involves 60 students aged 15-18 who report symptoms of depression. Researchers will compare students who receive the new counseling sessions to those who get standard school support to see if the program is feasible and helps ease symptoms.
