Summary
This study tests a stepped care approach to reduce depressive symptoms in 600 adolescents aged 13-15 in 40 schools in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. First, non-specialists provide a universal intervention; those who don't improve get a CBT-based self-help app. The goal is to find which interventions work best for reducing depression in school settings.
