Summary
This study tested a school-based program to help children with asthma take their daily preventive medicine under supervision. The goal was to reduce asthma symptoms, emergency visits, and missed school days. 29 children with persistent asthma from underserved communities took part. The program improved symptom control and lung function over 7 months.
